Proverbs 22:6 – “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”
Children are a blessing of the Lord. With these blessings also come responsibilities. As a church we have a responsibility toward our children. It is our desire to provide an environment in which children are safe, are taught at an appropriate level, and are encouraged to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.
We minister to the spiritual needs of our children through a children’s ministry program. We currently have two classes in our program for ages 2-6 and 7-12. Our lessons are interactive and we encourage the children to participate as they feel comfortable. We aim to give them the opportunity to: 1) discover God’s truth and the joy of knowing Him, 2) develop a passion for His Word and a lifelong dedication to growing in their relationship with Him, 3) understand their God-given gifts and begin to use them, 4) display His love throughout their church and community through service and ministry, and 5) positively affect their friends who do not know Jesus.
