Families are an integral part of our church community. Providing an atmosphere that is welcoming, safe and supportive of families, including young children, parents and youth is something we take seriously.
Kids @ Edge is our Sunday children’s ministry programme for children aged 2 to 12 years. This is held during the sermon time at the 9.30am family service and is designed specifically for teaching children about the Bible, the personal relationship they can have with Jesus and to equip them for life.
Kids @ Edge is currently using the Jesus Storybook Bible curriculum, giving the kids of Edge an overview of the Bible and an understanding that from the very beginning, God had a plan to rescue us.
We are committed to Safe Church Communities and we believe that children are entitled to feel safe and protected. We commit ourselves to ensuring our churches and programs are safe places for worship and participation by all. We acknowledge and accept that ministry involving children requires absolute trustworthiness. We commit ourselves to training and equipping those who work with children.
