Dave talks with Annie Seaton on the Good read as her latest book DIAMOND SKY   is released further establishing Annie as one of Australia’s finest authors of rural fiction – continuing to write riveting page turners filled with romance and intrigue, this time set in the Kimberley.

 

After working as a high school principal on the mid-north coast of NSW, Annie is now fulfilling her lifelong dream of writing, having been voted Australian Author of the Year by romance readers in the 2014 AusRomToday.com readers’ Choice Awards. Every year Annie and her husband travel to new remote parts of Australia for her research, for this book exploring the Kimberley and diamond mines.

 

Annie talks about  the research that goes into her novels set in rural Australia, her transition from high school principal to romance author, and how her novels branch into eco-fiction – using her stories to expose issues facing rural Australian landscapes and communities.
